Newport Police Seek Toys, Food For Needy Familes
The Newport Police Department is seeking donations for food and toys for their annual drive.
The Newport Police Department is seeking donations from residents and businesses for their 58th annual Christmas food basket drive.
“The Newport Police Department has been able to deliver between 50 to 100 baskets a year to Newport families in need and e can already see the need for more this year,” said Sgt. Christopher Hayes.
In addition to food, the department is also collecting toys for local families with children.
Donations can be dropped off at the Newport Police Station, located at 120 Broadway.
