Retired from a global IT solutions company. Earlier in life, an Air Force weapons officer aboard the F-111 bomber. Lived in Newport since 1992, volunteered with several groups -- the city's police and fire pension funds, the Point Association, Rose Island Lighthouse Foundation, Newport Public Education Foundation. In addition to advocacy for STEAM education within RI schools, main hobby is amateur radio (call sign K1NPT) and watching our son grow at the U.S. Naval Academy. My wife of 37 years, Beth, has deep RI roots and is also active on the civic scene.
