I work for a three letter global information technologies solutions company as a software architect addressing the needs of federal agencies. Have lived in Newport since 1992 and have been active on boards with several city groups -- the city's pension fund, Point Association, Rose Island Lighthouse Foundation, Newport Public Educ Foundation. Am currently active with KnowingNewport,  NewportReady, Alliance for Livable Newport and Cub Scout Pack 77 as a den leader.  My main hobby is amateur radio (call sign K1NPT) and applying voice/digital communications to the emergency management realm.
