Newport To Hold Vaccination Clinic Tomorrow
Residents can receive vaccinations against the flu, pneumonia, and pertussis on Saturday, Nov. 17.
The City of Newport Emergency Management Agency is proactively informing residents of the opportunity to receive inoculations. This is an effort to increase the number of people in our city protected against the effects of seasonal flu, pneumonia, and pertussis - also known as "Whooping Cough". A vaccination clinic will be held on Saturday, November 17, 2012, from 10 am to 1 pm, in the gymnasium of Thompson Middle School. Those wishing to take part should park in the St. Joseph’s Church parking lot located at the corner of Mann Avenue and Central Street. Additional parking if needed can be found across the street from Thompson in the Paramount Building parking lot. For those with mobility issues please park in the rear lot of Thompson off …
