Random Act of Kindness Hits Aquidneck Island

This Random Act of Kindness #13 was found on a car windshield in Portsmouth on Thursday.

Have you received a Random Act of Kindness on your car windshield lately?  I was surprised (and extremely moved) to find the above note, along with a $5 gift card, on my car windshield Thursday afternoon in the Custom House Coffee parking lot.  The note was inside an envelope simply marked "Random Act of Kindness #13." Only the names "Nicole, Keith & Blake" were written on the card.  As you can see above, the Random Acts of Kindness are being distributed throughout the country in honor of the 26 lives lost at Sandy Hook Elementary School. This act is specifically performed in honor of the late Chase Kowalski, age 6.  I want to personally thank this person or persons for this random act. Diocese Asks Bells Be Rung to Include Mother and Shooter, What's Your Take?

Governor Chafee asked bells be rung 26 times today in honor of the victims of Sandy Hook, the Diocese ask they ring 28 times, to include the mother and the shooter in our prayers.

To honor the memory of the 26 victims who lost their lives in the shootings,  Governor Lincoln Chafee has called for a statewide moment of silence at 9:30 a.m. on Friday and has asked that buildings, which have the ability, ring bells 26 times during that moment in honor the victims. The Episcopal Diocese of Rhode Island recommends churches ring the bells 28 times, which would include a ring for both the shooter and his mother.  "We think praying for all souls best reflects Christ’s message of forgiveness and love for all, and that we should especially pray for those souls who may need our prayers the most," said  Ruth Meteer, Communications Director for the Diocese. Hhhmmmnnn.........I had to think about this question. My God is a forgiving God so I guess I would have to forgive as well and ring the bell for all, however it wouldn't be just 28 tolls of the bell but millions because millions of people were, are, and will always be affected by this tradegy.
