Newport Folk Festival Lineup Announced

The 2012 Newport Folk Festival lineup was announced during a release party tonight.

The Newport Folk Festival has released its 2012 lineup, according to a report from Boston.com. Acts like My Morning Jacket, Dawes, Jackson Browne, Spider John Doerner and Iron and Wine top the list, as well as other bluegrass and jazz favorites. The lineup was announced tonight during a release party in Cambridge, Mass., but has yet to be put up on the folk festival's website. The festival will run July 28 and July 29 at Fort Adams.
