Quakers Outscore Lady Vikings in Soccer, 3-1

Rogers' girls fought hard, but couldn't come back from a three-goal deficit.

The Lady Vikings varsity soccer team put up a strong fight against Moses Brown on Monday, but in the end, they were no match. Rogers High (3-7-1) fell to the Quakers (8-2) 3-1. The loss puts them at a three-game losing streak, coming off two previous games against Narragansett and Cranston East. In both games they were scoreless. The Vikings spent most of the first half on Monday on defense, as the Quakers pounded shot after shot. Rogers goalie, senior Precious Daquil, had eight saves and let two goals through. Both were hard shots to the opposite corner. She did have several diving catches to keep them down by only two by the half. Moses Brown senior Lauren Davis scored both goals.
