Restored in 2010, the home is now a bed and breakfast and guests are welcome to book one of its available rooms. The inn offers lodging for up to four to six guests at a time.
The Austin House Inn offers the Spring Room and the Pelham Room/Suite. The Spring Room features stained glass window, a queen bed with a six foot high linen and silk headboard, a restored and reupholstered vintage Louis the XVI loveseat, an antique tasseled chandelier, cast plaster, painted Roman table lamp, fine artwork, a flat screen HDTV with direct TV connection, wi-fi, air conditioning and a closet.
The Pelham Room is available by itself or as a suite, featuring antique quarter sawn oak moldings, sliding eight foot high French pocket doors, a three by six foot transom window, an antique oak armoire and a queen bed with a raw silk upholstered headboard. The two hundred square foot suite room contains a Vanguard pull out sofa bed with queen sized mattress, a flat screen HDTV with direct TV connection, wi-fi, air conditioning and fine artwork, as well as a pentagonal sitting area that serves as a dining nook or a work area.
The Austin House Inn also features healthy and well-prepared meals that can be enjoyed in the outdoor patio eating/sunning area, on a large covered porch or in the comfort of guests' rooms
