The Island Moving Company offers foundation classes in ballet and adjunct jazz instruction to aspiring dancers, beginning with creative movement for ages 3 to 5, then formal training from 6 and up, all the way through adult pre professional classes. The Island Moving Company operates year round with 22 classes a week in the winter. Less classes are offered during the summer but weekly summer intensives are offered for every age group. Summer students look forward to the dance festival from July 15th to the 25th. Island Moving Company has been open since 1979. One to one instruction is available on request.
