Founded in 1994, Fort Adams Trust is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the restoration and preservation of historic Fort Adams. Thanks to Fort Adams Trust, the Fort can be explored and enjoyed and even rented out for private functions. Fort Adams Trust runs the gift shop and guided tours and is also responsible for a Civil War reenactment in July involving actors staging a seige of the fort and the Jazz and Folk Festivals in August.
