The Firehouse Theater offers live improvisation comedy every night of the week in July and August (weekend nights the rest of the year). Whether it is their award winning house group, The Bit Players or another fast paced, high energy local act the theater is full of laughs. In addition to the side splitting comedy, the Firehouse also offers refreshments such as water and soda to its audience free of charge, and encourages them to bring their favorite wine, beer, or liquor. The theater is cozy and intimate, seating up to 50 guests who are made to feel like they are right at home while enjoying the best comedy Newport has to offer.
