Castle Hill is one of the many breathtaking mansions located throughout Newport. Built in the 1800s and sitting on the hills overlooking Narragansett Bay, Castle Hill is the perfect spot to enjoy an elegant and intoxicating meal. Castle Hill's chefs use local fish, meats and produce to create a distinctly native, seasonal menu, served in four dining rooms. The Ocean Room is the largest of the dining rooms. The Agassiz Room, named for the renowned scientist and explorer, Alexander Agassiz (who the mansion was built for), overlooks the bay. The Newport Room is quaint and has a view of the bay similar to The Agassiz Room. The Sunset Room offers the feeling of being on a ship's bridge with a grand view of the entrance to Narragansett Bay. The Castle Hill bar offers a world-class wine list and fine assortment of liquors. One of the best mansions to have a wedding in Newport. The views can't be beat!
