Billy Goode's

Flag as Inappropriate

If you are looking for a night at a genuine sailor's bar, Billy Goode's may be the right stop. With live entertainment every night from blues bands and open mics to karaoke, this bar and restaurant is proud to be part of "old Newport." The former speakeasy is named after the notorious proprietor and barkeeper Billy Goode, who was the first man arrested in Rhode Island for violating prohibition. In addition to the bar, a small, homey dining room on the right side of the building serves comfort food to families and a quieter crowd.
