Belcourt Castle is a Louis XIII-style castle housing an extensive collection of art and antiques from 33 different countries, including a suit of armor, stained glass, furniture from the 10th to 20th centuries, paintings and a gold Coronation coach. The Castle has 60 rooms and was built as a bachelor's residence for Oliver Hazard Perry Belmont by Richard Morris Hunt in 1891. The entire mansion originally had only one bathroom, no kitchen and no guestrooms. Today, the Castle is preserved as a museum, and guided tours are offered daily.
