Newport Library Launches Twitter Account
You can follow the Newport Public Library on Twitter at @newportlib.
Newport residents can now follow the on Twitter.
The library announced on its website to follow them for “up to the minute information on all things library, to read great book reviews and to acquire a few fun facts along the way.”
The library’s account, @NewportLib, sent its first message out into the Twitterverse on Feb. 28 and has been updating the community on its own activity and happenings around town ever since.

Newport Library tweeted to Newport Patch earlier this month, “. . . we're excited to be here. We're hoping it will allow patrons to find out about our great events and services easily.”
