Resolution Check In

So it's 24 days into the New Year...check your progress.

Have you set your goals and committed to making them a habit yet?
Have you started to eat clean or get to the gym regularly or will that start, DEFINITELY, on Monday?
Have you been to the gym every day before or after work so you can be body beautiful by Memorial Day?
Have you said no to that extra serving or dessert you MUST have?

Many of these things above, plus other goals people set for themselves, go out the window very quickly in the new year for several reasons. Review my other blog post for the "Top 10 reasons....".

To add to that though is a self destructive mode that people will get into if they "come off the rails" and have a bad day or weekend.  They figure, ahh what the hell, I blew it last weekend so another day or 2 won't matter. 

The problem with that thinking is, it will matter and most likely because life will get in the way and snowball that 1 or 2 days into a week or two, then a month.

If you have a bad day, I say chalk it up like a flat tire on a road trip.  You're not going to go home because you got a flat, right? No, you're going to fix it and keep moving forward to your destination.

So don't let a couple of set backs keep you from your goals!
