Several Summer Bay Camp Spots Still Available Statewide
What will the kids do this summer? With six more weeks before Labor Day weekend, there's still plenty of time to get your child into one of our cool summer camps. Kids enjoy the beauty of Narragansett Bay and the fascinating world of marine science through games, crafts, and activities that make learning about our environment FUN!
The following camps have limited space available:
NEWPORT: EXPLORATION CENTER & AQUARIUM JR. BAYCAMP

Grades K-2 (completed), August 8-12, 2013. Half-day 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
There's no better place to go to camp than our newly renovated Exploration Center & Aquarium! Campers will explore Narragansett Bay along the shoreline and learn about different Bay habitats, including sandy beaches, rocky shores, salt marshes, and eelgrass. To register, click here

NEWPORT: SHIPBOARD AND SHORELINE BAYCAMP
Grades 3-5 (completed), July 22-26, 2013. Full day 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Come spend the week out on the water exploring the interesting islands of the Bay! In BayCamp, your child comes away with a greater understanding of and appreciation for the Bay and its watershed. We create games, crafts, and activities that make learning about our natural environment FUN! All campers get a chance to explore the Bay along the shoreline and aboard M/V Swift. PROVIDENCE: SHIPBOARD MARINE SCIENCE ACADEMYGrades 6-8 (completed), August 19-23, 2013. Full day 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
This brand new camp is perfect for newcomers to Save The Bay, as well as for our returning campers looking for a new experience. This camp enjoys full use of our educational fleet, enjoying the majority of the week aboard Save The Bay’s flagship vessel, the 45’ Alletta Morris, learning about the marine environment from our full-time education staff.
