Sea Level Rise Forum in Newport Tonight

What have been the impacts and lessons learned from recent major weather events and what we can work toward in the future?

Tonight, from 6 pm to 8 p.m., the City of Newport will be hosting an Engage Newport Public Event to discuss the topic of Sea Level Rise and the impact on Newport.

The Engage Newport Sea Aware Event - Newport's Waterfront and Sea Level Rise - What have been the impacts and lessons learned from recent major weather events and what we can work toward in the future?  - will be held at the Newport Yacht Club.

Newport residents and business owners are invited to attend this event to learn about the impacts of rising sea levels, the lessons learned to date and what solutions can be developed for the future with this information.
