This is becoming all to common, there have always been fights, but now these students are taping and incriminating themselves. Every student in the video watching and standing around knew what was happening before. They all need to be suspended with further help from the police department.

Simple assualt are you kidding me. That girl should be expelled indefinately. If I was the victim's mother I would sue her for assualt and battery.

What a blemish on a great school. Expell them so they don't disrupt the education of the students that want to be there.

It is no excuse, but fights happen at all schools. Portsmouth just reported a fight last week. Private schools squash the news so people think that they don't happen, but they do.

I think we are missing an even bigger point here. From what I have been told that disgusting "bully" is an ALP student. If that was my child I would be sueing the school department for just dropping off those kids and letting them hang out around the school unsupervised by any adult member of the school. Its obvious those kids have learning and other behavioral issues that are keeping them out of Rogers to begin with, thats why they are in ALP. Oh and when they get their "break" some of them like to go hang out near the track and smoke on school property, which I am pretty sure is illegal, and throw around F- bombs. Its very pleasurable to listen to that and have the smoke blow in your face when your walking the track. Again those kids are left without adult supervision. The school department should be ashamed of themselves. They must have known this was a time bomb waiting to go off, it was just a matter of time before something tragic happened.

Word is the young girl was talking about the bullies family. Hmmmm? What happens to sticks and stones. I dont' know about anyone else but as a mother I would be ashamed and dissapointed in my child. Kids today aren't being taught any other ways to respond to negativity but to escalate it. Life is tough and getter tougher the quicker you teach your kids that the better we all will be.

Sue and get what? Her mama's Escalade that our taxes are paying for? Maybe so many black marks on the family's record as a whole should effect the value of her section 8 vouchers.
