Woman Arrested after "Getting Heated" over Park Holm Wait List

The woman reportedly became furious about her position on the waiting list with the Newport Housing Authority.

An 18-year-old Newport woman is in hot water after she admitted to getting a little too heated when she screamed at employees of the Newport Housing Authority over her spot on the waiting list.

Police charged Savannah Kniekole Evans, 18, of 49 Park Holm, with disorderly conduct and two counts of making threats at about 3:50 p.m. on Monday after employees at the Housing Authority office said Evans was unhappy about her position on the waiting list and began screaming and swearing.

Evans reportedly threatened to beat up the employees and waved her arms, pointed and moved around in an aggressive manner, according to a police report.

By the time police arrived, Evans had already left but they soon tracked her down to a nearby apartment where she said she “got heated” and yelled at the employees.

A no-trespass order was also issued.

There should be more positive incentives for the poor to get off of assistance I completely agree with that. I also think the 1% manipulate the matrix. The divide is growing every year and it's a shame. From the 70's till now it's been out of control. As they say it takes money to make money.... which is funny depending how you look at it.
