Woman Arrested after "Getting Heated" over Park Holm Wait List

The woman reportedly became furious about her position on the waiting list with the Newport Housing Authority.

An 18-year-old Newport woman is in hot water after she admitted to getting a little too heated when she screamed at employees of the Newport Housing Authority over her spot on the waiting list.

Police charged Savannah Kniekole Evans, 18, of 49 Park Holm, with disorderly conduct and two counts of making threats at about 3:50 p.m. on Monday after employees at the Housing Authority office said Evans was unhappy about her position on the waiting list and began screaming and swearing.

Evans reportedly threatened to beat up the employees and waved her arms, pointed and moved around in an aggressive manner, according to a police report.
