Police Log: 13 Weekend Arrests
The following is based on reports from the Newport Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.
Friday
- George H. Britter IV, 47, of 4 Farewell St., Newport, was arrested around 10:05 a.m. on Friday, March 22, for a crank or obscene phone calls charge.
- A 16-year-old Newport boy was arrested around 1:54 p.m. on Friday, March 22, for a violation of a family court order charge.
- Beulah M. Earle, 38, of 16 North Dudley Ave., Middletown, was arrested around 7:10 p.m. on Friday, March 22, for first-offense DUI, first-offense possession of marijuana, driving in possession of controlled substance and refusal to submit to a chemical test charges.
- Joseph C. Coite, 47, of 3 Beacon Court, Newport, was arrested around 8:25 p.m. on Friday, March 22, for a fugitive from justice charge.
- Monique M. Irwin, 28, of 85 Winter St., Warwick, was arrested around 11:30 p.m. on Friday, March 22, for a breaking and entering without consent charge.
- Joshua Ziobrowski, 27, of an unknown address, was arrested around 11:30 p.m. on Friday, March 22, for a breaking and entering without consent charge.
Saturday
- Ulysses T. White, 24, of 9 Carroll Ave, Newport, was arrested around 2:20 a.m. on Saturday, March 23, for a breaking and entering charge.
- Joseph R. Cote, 41, of 15 Meeting St., Newport, was arrested around 3:35 a.m. on Saturday, March 23, for an active bench warrant.
- Jeffrey R. Coleman, 29, of 70 Carroll Ave., Newport, was arrested around 6:25 a.m. on Saturday, March 23, for an active bench warrant.
- Durell I. Parker, 26, of 800 Broad St., Providence, was arrested around 11:50 a.m. on Saturday, March 23, for an active bench warrant.

- Timothy J. Guinee, 19, of Wauketa Rd., Gloucester, Mass., was cited around 4:32 a.m. on Sunday, March 24, for possession of alcohol in public.
- Andrew Hammond, 21, of 352 Shore Acres Ave., North Kingstown, was arrested around 11:15 a.m. on Sunday, March 24, for first-offense possession of marijuana.
- Michelle R. Dupree, 52, of no permanent address, was cited around 8 p.m. on Sunday, March 24, for littering.
