• Thomas M. Ayres, Jr., 28, of 15 Meeting St., Newport, was cited around 11:25 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 24, for possession of alcohol in public.
• Stanley Bostic, 44, of 16 Brinley St., Newport, was arrested around 1:35 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 24, for six drug-related charges.  

Saturday

• Keith L. Turner, 22, of 15 Meeting St., newport, was cited around 2:34 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 25, for possession of alcohol in public.
• Shawn M. Kuiee, 24, of 23 Calvert St., Newport, was arrested around 2:26 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 25, for a disorderly conduct charge.
• Denis M. Healy, 25, of 320 Savin Hill Ave., Dorchester, MA, was cited around 2:56 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 25, for a noise violation.
• Patrick J. Torney, 28, of 15 Martin St., Whitman, MA, and William S. Torney, 34, of 11 Frederika St., Dorchester, MA, were cited around 2:56 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 25, for a noise violation.
• Joseph T. Shea, 27, of 63 Pleasant View Ave., Braintree, MA, was cited around 3:56 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 25, for a noise violation.
