Police charged a 16-year-old juvenile with vandalism and simple assault after a disturbance at a city group home recently.
Police said they were dispatched to the group home for a report of an unruly juvenile who had broken a window and assaulted staff members.
Police said the juvenile told them she was upset because the staff had instituted a penalty against her for previous misbehavior.
The juvenile reportedly punched one staff member and attempted to bite another when staff was trying to calm her down.
The juvenile was arrested and the matter will be adjudicated in Family Court.
