Dog Bites Woman During Argument, Disorderly Conduct at Wave Statue

The following information was provided by the Newport Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

  • Syeisha Bourget, 22, 7 Dr. Wheatland Blvd, Apt #A, was arrested Saturday around 10:00 p.m. on a felony assault with a dangerous weapon charge. When police arrived to an apartment on Wheatland Blvd., Newport firefighters were treating a dog bite on Bourget's right arm. Bourget said a woman “got in her face” and hit her. Bourget said she swung back, but she had a glass of water in her hand that struck the woman's face.  At some point during the argument, the woman’s dog bit Bourget, according to the report. 

  • Christopher O’Donnell, 22, of 10 Cranston Ave, was arrested Saturday around 2:30 a.m. on a domestic disorderly conduct charge. 

  • Two men were arrested after an altercation near the wave statue Sunday around 1:50 a.m. Jared Bisordi, 1442 Frenchtown Road, East Greenwich, was charged with obstructing an officer in the execution of duty and disorderly conduct. Ian Iannuccilli, of 136 Kenyon Ave., East Greenwich, was charged with obstruction of justice. Police said they observed Bisordi trying to provoke a fight and tried to involve others in the area.  Police said Iannuccill appeared to be drunk and was disrupting their questioning. Witnesses said Bisordi was kicked out of the Rhino Bar for trying to start a fight with customers. 

  • Benjamin Hill, 20, of 14 West Narragansett Ave., was issued a summons for a noise complaint.

  • Jennifer Evans, of 66 Malbone Road, was arrested Sunday around 2:10 a.m. on a reckless driving charge. 

  • Andrew Folley, 29, of 285 Bowen Street, Apt. #3, of 285 Bowen Street, Apt. #3, South Boston, MA, was arrested Sunday around 2:55 a.m. on a disorderly conduct charge. 

  • Adam Silva, 24, of 44 Webster Street, was arrested Tuesday on a warrant for failure to pay.

  • Heather Allen, 31, 311 Spring St. Apt #1, was arrested for domestic assault. She allegedly assaulted her 48-year-old boyfriend during an argument. 

  • Oneka Ardrey, 33, of 50 Park Holm, was arrested Tuesday around 1:35 a.m. for an active warrant. Police said she was pulled over because she did not use a turn signal.
