Another Vandal Goes Violent on Libby Kirwin Planters

What is it with vandals and the planters at Libby Kerwin Real Estate on Spring Street?
Another vandal has struck, ripping out geraniums from planters in front of the office in the early morning hours on Sunday.
The folks at the real estate office would like the public's help in identifying the culprit.
This latest incident comes about three months after a different vandal unceremoniously knocked over the planters. That incident was captured on video.
A realtor who sent along the photo said the geraniums were gorgeous and arriving in the morning to see it is "so frustrating!"
And the vandalism comes right before the city embarks on its 4th of July celebrations, coinciding with observances of its 375th Anniversary — a time when numerous businesses in Newport are trying to beautify and decorate their part of the streetscape.
