Island Park isn't Newport's jurisdiction - talk to Portsmouth police

I hope the folks that were caught near schools such as Thompson, Cranston Calvert, Sullivan, Cogeshall, and the MET School at locations such as Calvert St, Tilden, Hillside Ave, ParkHolm, Meeting St, Festival Field, Ranger Rd, Spring and Admiral Kalbfus all get "special" consideration. Dealing drugs so close to schools should automatically increase the severity of the crime.

The unemployment rate in RI took another hit today as these "business people" lost their jobs. Seriously, same names, different day. 15 meeting St is the aquidneck island ACI except that the people here have freedom to wander. Great undercover work NPD, and thanks for making the city I work in safe.

Kerri stevens got what she deserved... Sad about all the other boys though... Trouble seems to follow some of them...
roger clemens July 26, 2012 at 01:56 AM
without informants newport police would be out of a job Like Kristina bailey and edward mathers . Everyone forgets when kristina wore a high def camera under a baseballcap and filmed herself buying crack cocain in 20069 and 2010 ......
Just Guessing July 26, 2012 at 02:21 AM
i think the addresses are for where the accused live not where they committed their crimes.
Gonzo July 26, 2012 at 01:03 PM
A bunch of section 8 dead beats. They should get a real job.
Elizabeth July 26, 2012 at 05:01 PM
these are always the same old people getting picked up for something..and then let go AGAIN AND AGAIN!!! really?
Marie July 26, 2012 at 06:13 PM
what the hell does section 8 and these offenders have in common clearly you have a very ignorant view of the program and the people who work. And may particiapte in the program. Not everyone who participates in that program is selling or dealing drugs. Shame on them if they chose to.

Whenever drug dealers are around hundreds of kids of all types swarm towards them because they have drug habits. Sure not dealers are from the projects, of course, but enough to justify the AFT so wake up and read up on gangs because they infest housing projects and section 8 areas!
Chmn July 27, 2012 at 12:55 AM
there are so mant losers living on the dole in Newport. But then again this is what the good old local Democratic Party wants- dependants who will vote for them. It's been going on for decades. Live free and sell drugs.
roger clemens July 27, 2012 at 01:24 AM
finally someone that knows the real deal about denocrats . they have been giving things away for about 50 years like food stamps and wellfare payments , subsidised housingamoung other things for there votes they have been trying to turn the usa into a semi communist state all along and unfortunatly they are winning go to work people and stop dealing drugs to our children you low lifes peices of trash !!!
nptresident July 27, 2012 at 01:42 AM
Ignoramous.
the1 July 27, 2012 at 12:49 PM
why is there not something that states if you are on section 8, or food stamps , etc and are found to be selling drugs then your govt assistance is revoked. Crap, I knew of a family who was on section 8 and other assistance whose son got an Xbox for Easter! we pay our fair way, just getting by in this economy and my son gets the good old candy and bubbles...Oh, and they were selling pot from their govt funded house !

First off if you know anything not everybody is giving the opportunity to have a good enough education to get that womderful career... Some people arent given any chances to work because of where they live or how they are viewed by employers.... Ihave two kids and one ome the way.... If I had no means of income I would most certainly sell drugs....not to children but to lost causes grown adults who just dont give a fuck about themselves.....people should be more considerate ay the fact if it wasnt for snitches nobody would get arrested because the laws protect us to the point where snitches are more of a tool than a pistol to police.... If nobody likes hearimg about raids its time to stop snitching for a year so dea and narcotics across the country get there funding cut. And for all of you ignoramuses.... Notice the amounts of money are never disclosed because they take there cut right from the top before documenting any evidence.....the police arent heros when is the last time anybody heard of a news story where the police prevent a crime? You dont because they get more department funds for the crime rates which also allows bigger paychecks. Police are criminals too just on a more protected and sophisticatec level.

Get a job! Its called fast food! Its money and its better than sitting in jail for years. Don't these lazy fools think about the pain their family will go thru while their in jail? What about the kids who are starving &don't have decent clothes because mom or dad bought crack instead of food,or the baby born blind because of the crack sold to it's mother. I went to college for free, education I'd available if you want it. If you choose to sell drugs don't whine about it when you get caught! Don't b*tch about the snitch either! If working@mickyD's is beneath you, then go to school or a training program. If not, sell drugs,go to jail, hurt your family&be a true loser!
ÅfrîcanVîolët August 07, 2012 at 06:12 PM
You can stay in school and go to college free if you don't have certain felonies on your record. Plenty of people come from places far worse than newport& made something of their lives. Its all about choices. My patents were dirt poor,we lived in the worst part of Baltimore, but I studied hard, got into salve in? Can Newport&graduated. My classes were paid for with the free grant EVERYONE can get. So all that stuff u talkin' is just bull.
ÅfrîcanVîolët August 07, 2012 at 06:51 PM
..and why would you sell drugs when you are a parent? You get caught&then you are away from your kids. They suffer ,your family suffers. How is that being a responsible parent? Oh,is fast food or washing dishes to embarrassing? A REAL man would gladly talk any legal job he could get to provide for his family. selling drugs is the lazy way out. In Africa people make 70$ a week at a full time job,inMexico just$50! They come here happy to make $300-$400 a week doin tfast food. Since you would sell drugs,go to Mexico & sell with the cartels that cut peoples heads off&dump them in middle of a busy street in daylight..
ÅfrîcanVîolët October 05, 2012 at 04:07 PM
Noone told you to have 3 kids before you had a good job to take care of them. The same dumb people get caught over and over again vin Newport... going nowhere and will never get nowhere. If u got caught too bad,oh well..get a real job like a real man or woman and if u can't get one because you have a record, too bad again, that's your own fault, if u had kids and then couldn't afford to take care if them, then don't get knocked up without having a job and/or education to back u up....
ÅfrîcanVîolët October 05, 2012 at 04:24 PM
Real men get jobs...losers sell drugs..point blank...half the people on that list been in and out of jail most of their lives... losers! Miss Alicia sounds so proud to admit she risked putting her kids through hell had she been caught and she'd been ripped from their lives or worse taken by dcyf and put into a home with strangers.. great way to be a mother! Why didn't your kids' father(s) help u then? Or did u get knocked up by another loser who just doesn't want to help u with them?

At first I too was a single mother with 1 child,I left an 8 yr relationship because of abuse.1st off,as soon as I knew I was pregnant,I took xtra hours at my job+got another part time&saved enough $$ to make sure I always had a way to care for my baby.2nd I was smart enough to make sure I didn't get pregnant again so I didn't have to worry about not having $$ to care for more kids.3rd I went to ccri fulltime&worked rite at the school after classes so I could get an even better job... That's called being responsible for my actions! Not going out and selling drugs because I had too many kids without being able to afford them. My parents were very poor, but they made a way without selling drugs.
