Born in Newport, RI on February 23, 1958, he is the son of the late Stanley P. and Jeanne M. (Friend) Brown.

He was the beloved husband of Patricia (Smith) Brown. They would have celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary this October.

He was a 1976 graduate of Rogers High School and a graduate of the former Rhode Island Junior College, now the Community College of RI. Brownie enjoyed fishing, his morning coffee drives along Newport’s Ocean Drive and walking “his boys” Sam and Duff. Like his father before him, he fancied himself to be a great tomato gardener, always growing enough to share with family and friends. He also enjoyed watching the birds in his bird feeders. Bobby was an avid sports fan. He loved all of the Boston sports teams and NASCAR. He also enjoyed golfing and tennis. Bobby was a devoted family man and a loyal friend to many.
