What's Open and Closed on Thanksgiving in Newport

Stop and Shop stores will be closed on Thursday.  
Shaws Stores will be closed on Thursday

Taverns/Restaurants

• Easton's Point Pub, 116 Middletown (no food, 8 a.m. until 1 a.m. )
• Empire Tea & Coffee (Broadway in Newport 6:00-3:00) and  (Aquidneck Ave. in Middletown 6:00-1:30)
• IHOP, 159 W Main Rd, Middletown (7 a.m. until 2 p.m.) 
• The Chanler at Cliff Walk, Newport (call for hours 401-847-1300)
• Tickets, 15 Aquidneck Ave, Middletown (Breakfast, Lunch Dinner)
• Johnny s Atlantic Beach Club and Pavillion is open for lunch and dinner 
• The Fastnet Pub in Newport is open from 7 p.m. until close 
• Midtown Oyster Bar in Newport is open at 4 p.m. 

Road Closures

U.S. Post Office — The post office will be closed all day today. There will also be no mail delivery today. 

Newport Town Hall — Closed all day today

Newport schools — Closed all day

Newport Public Library  — Closed all day 

Newport Senior Center — Closed all day

Transportation
