Trinity Church, Newport, presents its second annual Strawberry Festival, Saturday June 14, 2014, 11 a.m. – 7 p.m.
Come visit this historic landmark overlooking Queen Anne Square and the Newport waterfront and enjoy homemade strawberry shortcake, fresh-squeezed lemonade, music, craft vendors, and tours. Trinity Church dates to 1726 and has been host to such dignitaries as George Washington, Queen Elizabeth II, and Nobel laureate Archbishop Desmond Tutu. The festival will be held rain or shine.
