Join the kids from the Middletown PMC Kid's Ride as they raise funds to fight the battle against cancer in support of the Jimmy Fund. In the same way the Boston Red Sox honor the riders of the 198-mile Pan Massachusetts Challenge bike ride, an event that has raised over $370 Million dollars in its 33 year history, at a game each year, the Newport Gulls are honoring the Middletown PMC Kid's Ride, in it's 5th year, at a game on July 12, 2013. A portion of all ticket sales from event coordinator Beth Larcom will go directly to the PMC and the Jimmy Fund. Middletown PMC Kid's Riders will parade around the field on thier bikes, toss out the first pitch, and help sell 50/50 and raffle tickets. The winning ticket for the Middletown PMC Kid's Ride raffle will be drawn at the game with two Grand Prizes - a 24" Cannondale Mountain Bike donated by Newport Bicycle and an "Ice Rink in a Box" donated by NiceRink.
