Stop & Shop and its sister company Peapod, the leading internet grocer, recently launched a Pick-up location in Newport. Shoppers can now order their groceries online through Peapod.com for easy pick-up at the Stop & Shop store located at 199 Connell Highway.

There is no fee for the service and no minimum purchase. Shoppers can choose a convenient one-hour pick-up time between 8 a.m. and 7 p.m. Sunday through Friday, and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays.

To launch the new Pick-up service, Stop & Shop and Peapod are proud to support the local community with donations of food and household items to the Martin Luther King Community Center Food Pantry.
