Local Server Shares $500 Tip With Coworkers

The Brick Alley Pub server didn't hesitate to share when she was given the huge tip at work Saturday. Check out her reaction.

A waitress at Brick Alley Pub got a $500 tip from a Kentucky man who's honoring his late brother by giving huge tips to wait staff across the country.

On Saturday, Seth Collins gave the tip to waitress Dolly Fischer, a registered nurse from North Kingstown who works at the pub part-time. She immediately offered to share the wealth.

"Oh my God, I can't even," she said. "Oh my goodness, well I'm going to split it with everyone up here."

Collins' brother, Aaron, died in 2012. His last wish was to give a $500 tip to a waiter or waitress. Seth Collins raised more than $50,000 and has been traveling the country fulfilling his brother's wish.

Brick Alley manager Matt Plumb confirmed that Dolly split the $500 with the other servers on the shift that night

"I split it with the other waitresses because this is just my extra money job, my fun job," Fischer said. "They definitely need it more than I do... It's a blessing for me and for the other servers."
