'The Heat Must Go On' at Jane Pickens

The Friends of the Jane Pickens Theater and Vanderbilt Hall present "The Heat Must Go On," a fundraiser to help underwrite the conversion of the theater's heating system from oil to a more cost-efficient source.

The event begins witha  pre-party at Vanderbilt Hall from 5:30 to 7 p.m., where Jennifer Minuto and Michael Walsh will perform. Tickets are $100.

The party is followed by a screening of "Last Day at Shea," a critically-acclaimed documentary narrated by Alec Baldwin that chronicles the history of Billy Joel and Shea Stadium leading up to the final performance at Shea. The film includes appearances by Paul McCartney, The Who's Roger Daltrey and Steven Tyler of Aerosmith. Film tickets are $20. Tickets are available at the Jane Pickens, at , or online here.
