Responding to popular demand, we're opening our 2012 season two weeks earlier than in recent years. Starting Saturday, March 17, we'll have five houses all open daily for tours: The Breakers, The Elms, Marble House, Rosecliff and Chateau-sur-Mer. Come and see what's new, including:
The updated Servant Life Tour at The Elms, with lots of new stories about the individuals who worked there, and about immigration, employment and labor disputes in the early 20th century.
The Victorian Wardrobe Revealed, our costume exhibition at Rosecliff, which showcases highlights of our collection from the years between 1840 and 1900. Some pieces have never been displayed before. Clothing and accessories from each decade will illustrate the stylistic evolution of the Victorian era.
