A being from outer space is accidentally stranded on Earth. In his search for refuge, E.T. wanders into a backyard where he is discovered by ten-year-old Elliott. Elliott assumes responsibility for E.T.'s safety while searching, in a race against time, for a way to reunite E.T. with his own kind in this heartwarming story of friendship and discovery. Movies are shown in the Quarry Meadow off of Hazard Road. Seating is on the grass. Films begin at dusk (between 8:00 and 8:15pm). Please allow 15 minutes to make your way down to the Quarry Meadow. Parking is available in the Rogers High School parking lot. Picnic dinners welcome. In the event of rain, the screening will be held the following evening. FREE.
