Dakota's Disney Dream Come True Benefit Event

Dakota Triplett is a 13 yr old, beautiful, smart, brave young woman. You would never know by looking at her that she is probably in more pain than you have ever been in. Or that she has been living with this blood disorder called Sickle Cell Anemia since birth & has blood tranfusions every month.

Despite these hardships, she is the most caring and courageous person. Dakota is home schooled, because of the pain she endures on a daily basis & her low immune system, but even so, she maintains a 3.4 GPA and plans to go to college for marine biology!

You can imagine that numerous trips to Newport Hospital can be very discouraging to a 13 yr old. So, needless to say, my family wants to give her some time to relax & have some fun..in DISNEY WORLD! We are having this benefit event in order to raise the funds to send Dakota and her Mom, who is also an amazing role model, to Disney. Through raffle baskets, silent auctions, and ticket purchases, we are convinced we can meet our goal. We are blessed to have received many donations, a few including the use of the FOP Lodge, food to supply at the event, items from Yankee Candle, Starbucks & Scampi's just to name a few. There will also be a D.J. to supply the music, who also has donated their time.

Tickets are $10.00 in advance or at the door.

Please consider participating in this event, if for nothing else, to see the smile on Dakota's face when she sees her community come together and support her! For further questions or ways to donate, including items for raffling, food or ticket purchases, please call LeeAnn Leavitt (401) 598 - 6322 or myself, Kayla Leavitt (401) 429 - 3156.
