Newport Construction Updates and Parking Restrictions
Updates on current and upcoming construction projects in Newport
The city will enforce the following parking bans on Monday, July 22 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. Tuesday, July 23 for Parking and Bicycle Pavement Markings. In the event of inclement weather, a rain date is set for Tuesday night July 23rd from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM Wednesday.
- Thames Street (from Memorial Blvd to Narragansett Ave)
- Spring Street (from Memorial Blvd to Broadway)
- Spring Street (sections of NO PARKING from Narragansett Ave to Memorial Blvd)
Current Construction Projects
During construction, be advised that traffic may be delayed at times and parking will be restricted between the hours of 7 AM and 4 PM from Monday through Friday. Questions on trash collection can be directed to the Clean City Program at 401-845-5613.D'Ambra Construction Co., Inc.
