St. Michael’s Country Day School will be hosting a one-day workshop by Yoga 4 Classrooms on Wednesday, August 8th from 9am to 3pm. The six-hour interactive workshop will demonstrate simple yoga and mindfulness techniques that can be brought into the classroom to help create a peaceful and productive learning environment. Teachers, administrators, school counselors, special education teachers, health educators, speech and occupational therapists, as well as others who work with children in a school setting are welcome and encouraged to attend. More About St Michael's Country Day School
St. Michael's Country Day School, founded in 1938, is an coeducational, nondenominational private school serving children from preschool through eighth grade. Pre-kindergarten and kindergarten students gain exposure to letters, numbers, books, art, music, science and sharing. Students in first through fourth grade explore the world around them through interdisciplinary, technology-enhanced thematic studies. When students reach middle school, they take five academic courses per day and also participate in foreign languages, art, music, theater, technical theater, computer graphics and athletics.
