@ The Deck's First Annual Absolut Bloody Mary Competition & Blood Drive
Be the first to be crowned the champion of the “First Annual Absolut Bloody Mary Competition”.
Join us Sunday, February 17th, 2013 as we team up with Absolut, The American Red Cross, And Newport's 25th Annual Winterfest to see who has what it takes to make the best Bloody.
We ask that you join us to support the American Red Cross as we host a Blood Drive during the competition.
Cheer on your favorite mixologist, as we will have a “Peoples Choice” winner! Or donate Blood and check out the creative booths!
RULES & CRITERIA
- All participants must use Absolut Vodka or Absolut Flavors.
- Participants must provide enough ingredients to tantalize the taste buds of judges and consumers.
-You will be evaluated by both judges & consumers based on Taste, Creativity, Presentation, Ease of Preparation, and Team Spirit.
There will be a grand prize valued at a minimum $350.00 for our first place winners.
Second place will receive a pair of tickets to the Boston Red Sox.
Third place will receive a $100 Gift Certificate to @ The Deck Restaurant & Bar.
BLOOD DRIVE DETAILS
The Blood Drive will be in a Red Cross Bus from 12pm – 5pm in our lot. All who donate are invited to join us @ The Deck for a complementary Brunch. We are also waiving a registration fee for all teams who donate.

@ The Deck is a restaurant specializing in "Nouvelle French" cuisine. It operates two kitchens, one indoors and one outdoors; the chef at @ The Deck is Matthew Holmes. @ The Deck hosts private events, such as wedding rehearsal dinners, corporate parties, birthday parties and other special occasions. Table seating is, of course, available, but customers can be seated at the bar with a view of the food being prepared in @ The Deck's open exhibition-style kitchen.
