Come, please join Save The Bay for our 41st Annual Meeting.  Enjoy light refreshments and a presentation from Will Baker, President and CEO of the Chesepeake Bay Foundation.  Event will also honor four local environmentalists:  Dr. Vincent Rose, Joe Carvalho, Bruce Hooke, and Dr. David Murray.

Easton's Beach is Newport's largest public ocean surf beach. The 3/4-mile-long beach runs along Memorial Boulevard at the start of the Cliff Walk and features a free playground, waterslides, a skate park, bumper boats, a carousel, Beach Bounce and more.

Public facilities include restrooms, indoor and outdoor showers, a shade pavilion, bathhouse rentals, a picnic and grill area, bike racks, first aid, pay phones, an elevator and beach wheelchairs for persons with disabilities, food concession stands and two public parking lots.

Beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, bathhouses and surfboards are also for rent daily.

Weddings and other private events can be held at Easton's Beach, which features a newly refurbished ballroom. Environmental nonprofit Save the Bay also has its Exploration Center and Aquarium housed here.

Free family concerts are held Tuesday evenings in July and August. Children's shows are held Thursday evenings during the same months. Other community events, including National Night Out and a Summer Beach Party, are also held at Easton's.

No ball playing, Frisbee throwing or kite flying is allowed on the beach at any time. Animals, flotation devices and alcohol are also prohibited.

Parking is available for $10 on weekdays and $15/$20 on weekends and holidays. Season passes are also available.
