Rhythm Quest Percussion Program

235 High St, Bristol, RI | Get Directions »
$30.00

Rhythm Quest Percussion is a youth-based percussion ensemble open  to those ages 12 - 18 yrs old who wish to learn, play and perform within  the community.   We are a non-profit organization run under the Bristol  Park & Recreation Department.

We exist to produce percussionists in a fun learning environment that  will perform within the community.   Although many of our students are  from Bristol/Warren, we are open to all students in Rhode Island and  Southern Massachusetts who want to learn, play and perform.

Students will learn from experienced staff about teamwork, different  styles of music and rhythms being performed on various types of  percussion equipment. From hand clapping, trash percussion, boom  whackers to more traditional percussion, we teach all of these different  styles of percussion. Our students get a chance to experience a variety  of musical challenges and grow with the program over time.

There is a one time fee of $30 to join the program, after that, all lessons are free and we run the program year round.

Rehearsals are held at the Reynolds School in Bristol, RI located at  235 High Street. We practice on the 1st floor of the school where we  have multiple rooms for our use.
