On August 31st Dr. Liotta tragically passed away in a car crash on Bellevue Avenue. Dr. Liotta was a larger then life figure and impacted the world on a local and global level. Many respected his professional background as a poet, Fulbright Scholar during Yugoslavia’s fall, scholar, and mentor to many. Liotta had an extensive resume that exceeded his fifty-five short years During Liotta’s memorial several students and friends expressed deep love and respect for their departed Professor.

As Liotta's daughter I hope in this creative journey as director and producer to honor my father. The challenge of this project is connecting with the numerous individuals Dr.Liotta impacted. As well, since the film is produced by students, the school year will impact the shoot schedule.

As Liotta's daughter, as a fledgling director and producer of the project, I hope to establish contacts in the film industry as well as educate myself about the film making process. It is a new process. Both daunting and invigorating. Please check out out the campagin and dIonate on Indiegogo ( the description is the same). It will end December 14th. If interested plese contact me at gliotta@gm.slc.edu. I am selling copy of my father's works and all proceeds will  go to the film. The film will be produced at Salve Regina in early August.
