Everyone has a story to tell. Do you have a personal tale to share but are unsure where to start? This class is a good way to jump start your writing, to begin telling the story you haven't yet put on the page. Students will learn how to focus their life stories and tell them with the finesse of fiction. We'll discuss craft elements including character, setting, dialogue, imagery and point of view. We'll read and discuss exemplary published excerpts as well as each other's work, and complete various inspiring writing prompts to keep your words flowing.
