More About Eisenhower Park
Eisenhower Park is a small, grassy space in the heart of Newport's historic Washington Square.
The park was named after the United States' 34th president, Dwight D. Eisenhower, who used to spend his summer vacations in the historic New England town. A stone, marking the honorable namesake, sits in the park.
Eisenhower Park also features a statue of Comodore Oliver Hazard Perry.
