 at  Portsmouth&rsquo\;s Glen Manor House.\nThe American Band is a sympho
 nic  concert band comprised of over 50 adult musicians from Rhode Island
  and  nearby Connecticut and Massachusetts. The repertoire is both versa
 tile  and traditional with works ranging from classical to popular\, mar
 ches  and operatic overtures to modern works for band.&nbsp\;\nThis conc
 ert is sponsored by Newport Fed Bank and the Friends of the  Glen Manor 
 House.
