Wildlife biologist Shivani Bhalla, a Kenyan national, will provide an overview on the Ewaso Lions Project she founded in northern Kenya. Ewaso Lions Project seeks to reduce the conflict between lions and humans and, thus, arrest the rapid decline of lion populations that have suffered a staggering population loss within the last 30 years. Shivani will provide a rare insight into lion conservation efforts within northern Kenya.
