The Jane Pickens Theater and Event Center announces a new series of films “Classics, Concerts and Cults” that will be known as the Friday After Dark series. Each movie will begin at 9:15pm, and as always our concessions and cash bar will be open. Below are the films in the current lineup with more to come.

Hendrix 70 Live at Woodstock - 1/11

In celebration of the 70th Anniversary of Jimi Hendrix's birth, experience Hendrix's unforgettable August 1969 Woodstock concert on the big screen and in surround sound for the first time ever. The concert is preceded by a fascinating “road to Woodstock” documentary, which reveals the struggle to stage the legendary festival and secure Hendrix as its headline artist.

Charlie Is My Darling - 1/25

The first documentary of the iconic band The Rolling Stones, has now been released in an extended and restored version, and is coming to the Jane Pickens. Follow the band as they travel to and perform two concerts in Ireland in 1965, just as “I Can’t Get No Satisfaction,” was becoming a hit. Intermixed with footage are interviews with the band as they talk about fans, fame and their future.
