Toll money from the New bridge over the Sakonett river is Suppose to be earmarked for the 4 bridges and  the streets and roads of Newport county only, problem is that we pay over a $1.00 a gallon in state tax on every gallon of gas sold in the county, so in fact we will be paying double tax. Of course this will now free up all the money raised in the county to fix other places in RI,So as the new tolls just drain down the local economy, we get to fix up the rest of the state, think about that, There will be jobs losses, how big and how many who knows, but it will happen, just hope the Navy and the feds don't get angry and do another pull out like they did in the 70's
