$336M Powerball Ticket Sold at Newport Stop & Shop
The Shop & Shop on Bellevue Avenue issued the winning ticket for the $336.4 million jackpot.
Rhode Island lottery officials have confirmed that the winning Powerball ticket for $336.4 million was sold at the Stop & Shop on Bellevue Avenue.
Both lottery officials and Stop & Shop have said no winner has stepped forward.
Ticket sales increased from $1 to $2 last month, which resulted in a ballooning jackpot.
The winner has one year to the date of the they drawing to claim their millions.
The winning numbers are 1-10-37-52-57 and Powerball number 11.

A winner in my state,, my city my store!!!! I play powerball at Stop and Shop on Bellevue Ave and purchased 4 tickets for this last drawing. But no matter how many times I check my tickets they don't change to the winning numbers. Sellers already get a fairly decent cut from the lottery commission. Probably in the neighborhood of a 100K for a payout this big.

the store gets nothing, the state of RI gets the cut. I wouldn't tip the person either, they got paid to sell that ticket, they were on the clock, good enough!

The person who sold the ticket had nothing to do with the person winning they didn't pick the winning numbers they just pushed a button. Let the store give a little something to their employee.

Not saying that it would be any type of obligation, just a nice thing to do. I know that I'd do it, as the world seems more cordial based on the continual passing of small kindnesses between strangers.
