Where to Find Free Thanksgiving Meals

There are several venues in Newport County area offering meals so those in need do not go hungry this Thanksgiving.

Several sites in Newport County and southeastern Massachusetts are offering free Thanksgiving meals this Thursday, Nov. 22. 

Where Time Additional Information
Sandywoods Farm, 43 Muse Way, Tiverton 2 p.m. It's a traditional harvest dinner, featuring locally sourced food donated by area farmers and vendors. Turkeys will be provided. Adults are welcome to bring their own beer and wine. Donations will be accepted to cover the cost.
Amicable Congregational Church, 3736 Main Road, Tiverton 1 p.m. It's their community Thanksgiving dinner. Seating is limited. Reservations can be made at 401-624-4611
Portsmouth United Methodist Church, 2732 East Main Road, Portsmouth
Noon to 4 p.m. No reservations required. All are welcome. Turkey and trimmings will be served! Free music, too! 
The Seamen's Church Institute, 18 Market Square, Newport 12 to 2 p.m Turkeys will be provided and donations are being accepted.
