Edward King House Senior Center — Closed all day
Grocery Stores
- Stop & Shop on Bellevue and Connell Highway will be open and operate under regular hours.
Restaurants and Retail Stores
- Restaurants and stores will be open at their own discretion. Please call ahead.
Banks
- BankNewport (all branches) is closed.
- People’s Credit Union (all branches) is closed.
- Citizens Bank (all branches) is closed.
- NewportFed (all branches) is closed.
Athletic Facilities
- Newport Athletic Club is closed.
- Pulse Newport is open.
- Innerlight Yoga will offer 6:30am Open Yoga & 9am Open Yoga. All other classes are cancelled today.
Transportation
Rhode Island Public Transit Authority The Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) will run a Sunday/Holiday service schedule on Monday, May 28, 2012, in observance of Memorial Day. The Sunday/Holiday schedule will apply to all regular fixed-route buses and trolleys. View the schedules here.
